One way

She was flowers

A cast iron drawl

There’s only one way she got by

I still haven’t found it

I remember her chicken pie

But not a thing she said

I can still smell her house

But I don’t know what she did

She was beautiful

And everywhere

She had us all

She’s better there

I stopped missing her

It didn’t take long

Just Christmas now

When I hear that song

But every day

I feel it bigger

The space between

And the cold it brings

She’s with me now

That’s what she’d say

There’s only one way

And I still haven’t found it
